Students form Newquay Tretherras were invited to a special Christmas dinner at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Restaurant along with clients of AGE UK.
The mix of old and young people having Christmas Lunch together impressed other diners who commented on the fantastic idea and exceptional behaviour of the students.
The students were treated to a tour of the restaurant and kitchen as well as talking to chefs about their careers and experiences with Fifteen.
The lunch was a fantastic success, resulting in students offering to volunteer with AGE UK in the new year.
Mrs Julie Cartwright, Wellbeing Mentor at Newquay Tretherras commented, ‘It was really wonderful to bring our young students together with older people and share in such a wonderful time together. The Newquay Tretherras students were brilliant and it made for a fantastic festive lunch!’
