The event was organised by Jamie-Lee Ball and Cathy Craddock at Cornwall Trec and Cathy commented, “We had an afternoon of what seemed like a cazzilion school children and I have to say it was daunting, but they were all great, really polite and easy to work with. We had to push them through fast to get the competition all done before dark and they all responded well. Some of them could teach the odd tricky adult competitor a thing or two in sportsmanship and handling disappointment. A fab day. Thanks to everyone who helped.”
Miss Carole Ellis who coordinates the equestrian club at Newquay Tretherras added, “Congratulations to all the girls who competed and represented the school so well. The results were well earned and their behaviour and sportsmanship was exceptional.
