TRANSFER EVENING
Our Transfer Evening takes place in October every year and is an important part of the application process. During the evening, you will be able to meet subject tutors, current Sixth Form students and discuss proposed courses on offer.
THE APPLICATION FORM
If you would like to study at Newquay Tretherras Sixth Form, you need to fill out an application form.
• We will ask you to suggest a provisional combination of subjects you are interested in studying.
• We will help you to devise a curriculum which makes it possible for you to study your subject combinations.
• Once we have processed your application form we will invite you to an application meeting.

APPLICATION MEETINGS
Application meetings will take place in January. They provide an opportunity to discuss your views and questions about Sixth Form issues with a senior member of staff. We will give you an open and honest picture of life in the Sixth Form and advise you on your choice of subjects.
INDUCTION DAY
We will be running an induction day immediately after the GCSE exams finish. This will give you the opportunity to sample Sixth Form lessons and learn more about life at NT6.
ENROLMENT DAY
You will join Newquay Tretherras Sixth Form on your results day. There will be a brief interview confirming subject choices based on your results. You may choose to fine tune your subjects at the beginning of the new academic year in September.
