Returning to the Lighthouse Cinema for the third year in a row, the Newquay Tretherras Summer Art Exhibition filled the foyer with extraordinary Art and Photography craftsmanship.
The preview evening opened the showcase on Tuesday 28th June and included pieces by GCSE and A Level Art and Photography students.
Mr Phil Strugnell, Head of Art at Newquay Tretherras, believes that there is a brilliant range of work from the students and that the standard will lead to another set of excellent results.
Mr Strugnell commented, “I am incredibly proud of the expression in the work that the students have managed to achieve this year. There are some terrific pieces of art on display that demonstrate real unique artistry.
Mr Strugnell added, “I would like to thank the Lighthouse Cinema for welcoming us once again and providing such a great exhibition space. People in the town are able to see for themselves what great talent there is at Newquay Tretherras.”
The exhibition runs until 7th July and is open to the general public during the Light House Cinema opening times.
