Newquay Tretherras’ annual Tux & Tiara event was held last week.
The glamorous event raises funds that go towards the school’s celebratory Year 11 prom at the end of the academic year.
Around 35 students modelled a range of prom wear from shops including, Cargo, Foster Triniman, Pam’s People, New Look and D’Laceys.
With over 150 people in attendance, the night raised nearly £500 to put towards the funds needed to organise the Year 11 prom, which will be held at the Atlantic Hotel on 26th June.
Miss Carley Barber, Deputy Head of Year 11 said, “We had wonderful support from parents and students on the night to make it a lovely evening. All the students were fantastic and looked stunning in their prom wear.”
