On a Sunday at 1oclock 10 of us traveled up to London for the Rosslyn park 7s tournament. The long journey up consisted of us being loud all in excitement for our big day on the field. After a long 6 hour trip we eventually got up to the hotel we where staying in. Sir signed us in and gave us our cards to get into the rooms. He told us to be down at dinner by 8. Muzz and Kai managed to get locked out of their room and after getting a new key made we make it down for tea till half past 8. We all had tea and got to bed earlyish in anticipation for a huge day of rugby the next day.
We got up got ready and where back on the bus for another hour till we finally made it to they ground. Our eyes lite up as we drove in and saw 20+ pitches on the first field. There was people everywhere all looking a lot bigger than us. We parked up and made our way to the pitch which was on the second field. Our first game was a huge wake up call after being beaten badly by a big Welsh school. This really told us the compotision we would be facing. After a break we where back on, losing this game by a smaller margins and we managed to get a couple of trys. Our last game against The Judd school we were expecting this to be our hardest game. We went in wanting to come away with at least one win from the day. We dominated the possession but when they went two scores up most of us thought it was all over. We managed to get one back and it came down to last play if we scored we won. We eventually won the scrum Sam Thomas passed it to Oli who made a great pass to Muzz who scored the try, the whistle went and that was it we had won a game. We had a quick look around they huge stools and shops before leaving and getting home at about half past 7 in the evening. We were all extremely tired after two long days. Thank you to Mr Johnston and Mr Richards for giving up their weekend to take us up there.
