Key Stage 3 Drama
Students have one lesson of drama a week and all drama is taught by specialist teachers. In phase 1 we concentrate on building confidence, skills in collaboration and performing.
We explore a range of topics from the Titanic to Shakespeare’s Macbeth so that students experience a wide range of topics and styles.
There is a drama club for those who wish to improve their skills even further and a range of performances to participate in from performing in the Drama Showcase at the Hall for Cornwall to the bi-annual school musical.
Teachers have had training from a variety of practitioners from the RSC to Frantic Assembly. The lessons are practical and allow students to work in a way that is supportive and challenging.
