Newquay Tretherras Student Jumps for Joy and Raises £1200 for Charity

Newquay Tretherras Student Jessica Nicholls has raised just over £1200 from a skydive to raise money for the mental health charity MIND.
The Year 11 student chose to do the 10,000f ft parachute jump after having received support for her own mental wellbeing and to send a supporting message to others that through challenge, positive things can be achieved.
Jessica explained; ‘The purpose of the skydive was to prove to others that by taking a leap of faith, getting out of your comfort zone, you can become a better person for it.’
After the jump, Jessica was overwhelmed by the experience but has already decided to do it again.
