The Lighthouse Cinema once again welcomed the Newquay Tretherras Summer Art Exhibition for the fourth year in a row.
In the centre of Newquay, the cinema foyer featured the work of Tretherras Art and Photography GCSE and A Level students.
The preview evening opened the showcase on Wednesday 27th June and featured a diverse range of mixed media outcomes that highlight a breadth of practices and techniques used by the Newquay Tretherras students.
Mr. Strugnell, Head of Art at Newquay Tretherras commented; ”We have an incredible range of work on display that really shows off interesting concepts and ideas. Our students have pushed traditional fine art and photography outcomes to come up with fascinating new artwork. We are incredibly proud of the work they have produced this year.”
Mr. Strugnell added; “We would like to thank all parents and students who attended the preview evening and also thank the Lighthouse Cinema for their continued partnership by offering us such a great venue to exhibit our work.”
The Newquay Tretherras Art Exhibition will run until the 10th of July and is open during cinema times.
