Right at the start of the Autumn term, Newquay Tretherras welcomed Year 5 and 6 pupils along with their families to the annual Open Evening where the whole school was opened up to prospective pupils and interested visitors.
The school was buzzing with energy as spectacular activities put on from all subject’s departments engaged everyone. Some of this year’s highlights were, poetry in World War I trenches from English, hoverboards in the Science corridors, virtual reality worlds in Computing, and roasting marshmallows on an open fire from Outdoor Learning.
Visitors also had the chance to see the newly refurbished Sports Hall from the gallery area.
Thank you to all the amazing students who helped out on the night and contributed to making Newquay Tretherras a wonderful place to be.
