A well deserved congratulations go to Newquay Tretherras Swimmers who performed fantastically at the Regional Swimming Championships held at the prestigious Millfield School.
Competing against the very best schools in the South West our girls team finished 9th in the Freestyle and 7th in Medley relays. Additionally our boys team did very well, also finishing 9th in the Freestyle and 4th in the Medley.
Lead Teacher of PE at Newquay Tretherras, Mr Richards commented, “Many of our team were Year 7 students who will be able to compete again next year. They were fantastic ambassadors for Newquay Tretherras and we look forward to seeing what they can do next year!’
