Congratulations to the fourteen Year 13 students that successfully completed their Gold DofE Assessment.

As you might expect, it looked quite different from a traditional Gold expedition, with the various Covid controls in place.

The Sixth Form students rose to the challenge and all enjoyed the 80km+ of Cornish coast path on our doorsteps. The teams walked from St Just back to Newquay Tretherras, taking just over 4 days.

Their aim for the expedition was to look at the Leave No Trace practices for anyone visiting the outdoors and the environmental impact we have when outdoors.
