During the last week of term, Newquay Tretherras students took part in their second Inter-House competition.
Instead of one of their core PE lessons, they competed against one another to win house points that accumulate towards the overall House Cup competition that is won at the end of every academic year.
The students in Years 7 to 11 participate in a variety of sports during this week and most recently competed in Netball, Handball and Benchball.
Every lesson is run as a separate tournament with the winning house scoring 25 house points all the way down to 5 house points for 5th place. The students love the chance to compete as part of their house and the competition, engagement and enjoyment from all year groups is great to see.
The results for the most recent inter-house are as follows:
1st Lizard- 360
2nd Wolfrock- 295
3rd Longships- 270
4th Godrevy- 260
5th Pendeen- 250
Well done to all involved, from the NTSport Team
