Volkswagen Group apprenticeship programme

After completing GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications, there are a variety of options available to students. An apprenticeship with the Volkswagen Group could be the perfect start to establish a career in the automotive industry.

The Volkswagen Group apprenticeship programme offers students the opportunity to learn and earn through gaining a nationally recognised qualification while working for one of the world’s leading automotive brands.

All apprentices are employed full time in a retailer and will receive a combination of on-the-job and off- the-job training. On-the-job training will include having an experienced mentor who will provide help and support with work done in the retailer. In terms of off-the-job training, apprentices will have a mixture of face to face classroom-based training in one of our state-of-the-art training academies and online training through virtual classrooms.

Whenever Government restrictions are in place due to the current pandemic, Volkswagen Group will always comply with the latest guidance. With this in mind we have adapted learning for our apprentices and where appropriate this is delivered online.
