Year 11 student Josie Plant has been offered rugby scholarships from both Hartpury College and Exeter Chiefs.

Josie first started playing rugby when she was six years old at Perranporth Rugby Club. She progressed to Penryn and Camborne Rugby Club, so she could continue to play rugby in an all girls’ team.

Currently, the 16-year-old plays and trains with Dings Crusaders in Bristol and has been involved with the England Women U18 Talent Development Group.

Josie plans to make a career out of rugby and has a clear vision of what she wants to achieve.

Josie commented, “I’d really want to go as far as I can and hopefully play International rugby one day.”
