On Wednesday 27th April Mike Tench and Lisa Schiavo–Tench welcomed their beautiful baby, and much loved son, Francesco, to the world.
Francesco was born with heart complications that sent the new family to Bristol Children’s Hospital, where the incredible team around Francesco have given him a chance. Whilst the journey ahead will be a long one, the expertise and love of Bristol Hospital have meant they are on the road. And Newquay Tretherras want to help Mike and Lisa say thank you.
The NT community are teaming up to complete as many marathons as we can over the month of June. We are running, cycling, walking, riding, and paddling our way to help Mike and Lisa raise money for the Grand Appeal charity, a Bristol Hospital charity that supports families like the Tench’s. Mike and Lisa are much loved members of our Tretherras family. They are a cherished couple who, as Maths teachers, have spent their lives transforming the lives of Newquay’s young people. Putting children’s opportunities and well-being at the heart of all they do, they now need us to help put Francesco’s heart front and centre of what we do.
