Last Wednesday saw the Class of 2023 return back to their Tretherras family as they joined us in a celebration evening to collect their GCSE certificates. Last year’s Year 11 really deserved to have their moment and reflect on all of their successes, which were many! As well as collecting their qualifications, there were a range of special awards which included Owen Pope for best overall KS4 results & Top Scientist; Madeline Keill and Sonny Toms for excellence in Music, Eden Hales for the biggest contribution to the year group and Annie Watson and Ethan Lusty who both received awards for contributions to Sport. This year, the Steve Paice award went to Jake Davison, the Performing Arts award to Kayley Paterson and the most progress to Hannah Gallagher.
Whilst many of the students are still with us in NT6, it was lovely to see other familiar faces and hear about how they have all settled in colleges, apprenticeships and courses across the county.
We ended the evening by reminding them all that they’ll always be a part of our NT family. So, keep in touch Class of 2023 – we’d love to hear all your news and successes as you develop into the thoughtful and determined young adults you are already becoming.
