What a huge success our Christmas Concert was on Tuesday evening! A spectacular display of talent, skill and pure dedication from our outstanding musicians. The Jazz Band really set the standard high, opening the show with their captivating Christmas arrangements and complex solos. There were so many gorgeous harmonies in our beautiful vocal performances and we were also able to bring a touch of the Caribbean with our Steel Band, Keep it Steel. Of course, the chime bars really made the audience feel Christmassy performing Oh Holy Night and the GCSE ensembles completely rocked the stage! I was in awe of the talent displayed by our sixth formers and privileged to have them present the entire evening with captivating jokes and good humour throughout!

I’m looking forward to the next big concert now as we hope to start making plans to move into our new build at the start of 2025!! Watch this space….
